SOURCE ε FIRST IMPRESSIONS ϶ VISUAL: Mixed to the point where very little is easily gleaned about his heritage, but looks vaguely Filipino. Dark olive skin mottled with freckles in dense, irregular patterns. Violently blonde hair with dark roots that's so vibrant it's easily mistaken for dyed. Blue-gray eyes, likely a product of a gene flip generation. Spattered with scar tissue virtually all over, but most noticeably a split in his brow and across the bridge of his nose, and a raised lump of keloid on the back of his neck. ϶ FASHION: Most often clad in dark gray armor with yellow accents. Visual reference here. ϶ AURAL: Generally speaks in a low, steady tone, vaguely static-distorted by his helmet filter (audio example here). Has a tendency to go screechy with rage when he's frustrated, but will slow down and speak very coldly and deliberately when legitimately angry. Has also, under certain circumstances, been known to imitate those he's annoyed with - badly (audio example here). ϶ OLFACTORY: Nothing of note. Might smell of cordite and kevlar for the particularly sensitive. ϶ DEMEANOR: A military man, first and foremost. He was a marine before he was anything else, and his subsequent career was merely an extension of that. He's direct, businesslike, and often ruthless in his choices. He does not shy away from making hard decisions, and will easily make them on the behalf of others if they're unwilling. Nearly always exhausted for some reason or another. In theory boasts a low tolerance for bullshit; in practice has the potential to be an active participant in said bullshit. ε OOC PERMISSIONS ϶ BACKTAGGING: Always and forever. The damage from that incident still remains, even if he is psychologically much healthier than he was. Contains memories of essentially three other people besides himself - the Epsilon A.I. unit, the Alpha A.I. unit, and the Director of Project Freelancer. Has gotten better at distinguishing between these over time, but the potential for fallout still exists. He's been through a lot of physical shit, needless to say. This is the future, so it's safe to say that the medical advancements have allowed him to operate in peak physical capacity despite this, but anyone with medical experience who gets a look at him will probably be able to chart a lifetime of military experience in scars. ϶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS: Being condescended to or patronized, being referred to as crazy or any synonyms thereof, or being treated like he's not in full possession of all his mental faculties (i.e., being spoken to very slowly, or like he's a child). This is not likely to elicit harsh reactions unless he's in a rough place to begin with, but it will broker a cold reaction. ϶ CONTENT WARNINGS: Red vs. Blue has employed derogatory language, slurs, and terms that I personally do not condone, and will not use in my tags.
